Ohh now i'm really pissed off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its no news that there's scarcity in the land. i spent the whole of Saturday looking for this product which we readily produce the parent material, export it and then import just some of the finished products( Kerosene, Diesel,PMS are the main products imported at High prices... Wax and other products are some of the by products of crude which we don't bring back)law's of demand and supply infer that this doesn't make sense, No where else in the is this done!!!!
The reason for my anger, My Blog has been getting fewer hits due to the scarcity( how can anyone be interested in you telling 'em about Torque steer, when he doesn't know where the next drop of Fuel for his Car and Gen will come from)?
I don't get it, Nigeria's has basically one mode of transportation:Road, and everything on the road is fueled by Petroleum products( at least in Nigeria). So how can the Government (Old and present) keep on playing games with such an essential commodity? Fuel attendants, Station owners are all smiling to the bank due to the chaos the Government of the day is causing. It pains me dearly because i don't understand it... How can we have so much, yet suffer so much? how can we be suffering yet smiling? 5th Largest OPEC producer???? God have Mercy on us all (for the Govt. for being senseless to the plight of the people and for the rest of us being too weak and afraid or un-concerned to care).
The entire bit of the Holidays are almost completely ruined. The losses to the Economy will be incalculable. In the US, business owners look Fwd to the Xmas holidays. Here we're greeted always with Fuel Scarcity(it was the same thing last year). We now have a situation where fuel stations pray for Scarcity.
Yar-Adua, I advise you do what is necessary. Listen, look at Nigerians. We deserve better. Get your act right cuz if my blog suffers any more loss in Hits, I'm gonna come take your Job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  3. i even had little fuel to take me to work till christmas eve. Unfortunately i used it up in the search for fuel. I went past MFM after i had exhausted the Lagos metropolis. Something really has to be done. The elites and people in government are responsible for the mess Nigeria is in...Guess what i'll do when i'm in power?

  5. Elems,

    U sure do amaze me.

Y do u expect so much from folks u dint vote in to start with? Or did ur own vote count?

Y do u allow urself so much heart-ache when we have rulers in place of leaders who flagrantly flout d laws of d land?

Y do u expect much from myopic clowns who are products of an inefficient greed-driven system?

Y do u carry on as doe u just returned from the other side of d globe, isolated from 3rd world realities?

Y choose to compare apples (the US) with oranges (Naija)?

Y are u surprised d Station owners r smiling cuz of a loop-hole in the supply chain when d rulers haven’t gotten dir acts together?

Y advise a victim of acute pericardiatis (whose current state is shrouded in secrecy) to do what is necessary as per fuel crisis?

U must really think he’s receiving daily briefing on the nation’s state of affairs asides d fact dt his seat at Aso rock is still secured.

As u’v rightfully pointed out, we seem to be in a cycle as there’s no reason y dis won’t be repeated again in 12months’ time!

In as much as we do nt have the right leaders with vision & d political will to effect humane reforms with self-less service, am afraid…am afraid…

Weep not my friend …hang in there!!!

  6. MAdness! MAdness !! MAdness !!! thats what it is.
I cannot fathom the depth of disregard for human dignity, i feel a sense of total loss, NO hope just darkness an Abyss.
What does the future holds, what is the meaning of a life such as this when we strife for the things that de-humanises, what future do we leave for our progeny.
How do i birth my dreams for my country for my children, whom will i fight? Everyone? the leaders; political, religious, spiritual, traditional whom?. The people? educated ,uneducated, ceos , the labour unions....
We all speak one language CORRUPTION and GREED. I THINK I will just pray!!!

Yes you may steal all the money , but you will use it to cure pericar--whatever, you will die of tummy tucks and liposuctions .

If you kill by not providing service or health, you will die of good health

If you turn other peoples future into prostitution, yours would do drugs and share a shelter with your creations

For every dream you steal you will reap a nightmare.

This is my country, my Nigeria if you hold it to ransom out of greed , ignorance or lack of vision you will die...

Your time will come, you will go to jail in greys. Leave me alone let me breath, i am wealthy yet i borrow, i make crude yet i import, i have visions dreams of better tomorrow yet i can barely see my way around my yard.
Leave me alone and let me be.
